I didn't really set how to write specific lengths, beyond just novel-length norms.Jim Melvinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11109419832672177370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669993683940891260.post-42151740531275595052008-01-15T15:08:00.000-05:002008-01-15T15:08:00.000-05:00Upon reflection I realized that it would take a pa...Upon reflection I realized that it would take a particularly open minded republican to even look at a series called The Death Wizard Chronicles. Such a person is not likely to be put off by such a mild political endorsement as you've given here.

Personally, I'm just glad when people are engaged at all, no matter which side of the polyhedron they inhabit.

On a different note, what is the word count of the Death Wizard books? Do you shoot for a certain minimum, or just work it until the story is complete?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03155751185209414920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669993683940891260.post-90703087577927443962008-01-15T14:32:00.000-05:002008-01-15T14:32:00.000-05:00Bryan:I very much enjoyed your comments. And you could not be more right on human rights and sustainable technology.

As for turning off Republican readers ... hmmm ... I'll have to think on that one. However, I don't hate her like some people. My ticket of choice would be Obama/Edwards, but if its Clinton/Obama I will still be thrilled to offer my support. We have a great field this year.

My biggest issue is the war, and I hope Hillary's hawkish rhetoric (at least in the past) is more bark than bite. With the military strength and brain power our country has, there's no reason we shouldn't be leading the world on human rights and sustainable technology. I really hope we can make some big, positive changes in the next few years.

I try not to apply political or religious litmus tests to writers, but I have to admit your blog entry makes me more likely to order your book sooner. =) Hopfully the opposite is not true of your Republican readers.

Peace,
Bryan HitchcockAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03155751185209414920noreply@blogger.com
